COURSE DETAILS

Start and Finish at Depena Reserve, Sandringham.

​

The flat and fast course travels along the Foreshore path, boasting spectacular water views. You will head North along the bay first, past Ramsgate and Brighton Le-Sands Beach, through Kyeemagh and along Cooks River to the turn around point just before Bestic Street. You will then return south back along the bay, past Depena Reserve (enjoy the cheers of the crowd and support crews!) and through Sandringham to the Southern turn around point beneath Captain Cook Bridge, before heading back to the finish area.

The Bayside Half Marathon 21.1K is a 1 LAP COURSE.

MINIMUM AGE

16 Years of age as at 31st December 2026.



ABILITY 

  • The Bayside Half Marathon 21.1K is suitable for ALL levels, including walkers, however you must have trained sufficiently for the event due to the distance.

  • There will be NO course cut off time.


BIB COLLECTION

  • Bibs will include an embedded timing chip and are to be worn on the FRONT of your running top/singlet.

  • Bib Collection will be available on the day from the bib collection area (near the start/finish area at Depena Reserve) from 5:45am.

  • Please aim to arrive 60 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of your event to allow for parking and bib collection

AID STATIONS

  • There will be THREE (3) aid stations on the course, accessible both sides (i.e. you will pass an aid station 6 times in total for the Bayside Half Marathon 21.1km)

  • At each aid station, there will be volunteers supplying water, electrolytes, lollies to participants. There will also be access to toilets at each aid station.

  • Aid station locations:

AID STATION 1: On grass next to Ramsgate Carpark

AID STATION 2: Kyeemagh Kids Playground

AID STATION 3: Opposite Scott Park Public Toilets and Riverside Drive Playground

AGE CATEGORIES

​

Age Groups (male & female): 16-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ (age as at 31st December 2026).

 

FINISHER MEDAL & PRIZES

 

  • All finishers will receive a Bayside Run Festival Finisher Medal

  • Bayside Run Festival placegetter medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age category (male & female).

 

PLACEGETTER PRIZES AND RESULTS ARE BASED ON NET TIME (from the time you cross the timing point at the start to the time you cross the finish line)​


RESULTS

  • Full results for all participants will be available from https://www.multisportaustralia.com.au/ as soon as they are finalised after the completion of the event.

  • Reporting a Result Error: If you believe that a result is missing or is incorrect, please report it as soon as possible at the event to Multisport Australia staff. If noticed after the event, you can report it via the “Report An Error” link at the bottom of the relevant results page on https://www.multisportaustralia.com.au
